Showing off with metal on round roofs

by Christina

We are all artists, right? A little showing off is what we like to do. Not only is is good for business, it’s good for the soul. And in our field, one of the best ways to accomplish this is to correctly and beautifully clad a round architectural detail with metal.

As you might recall from a previous article: Shingles for Radiused Details and it’s companion article: Shingles for Radiused Details Supplement, our interlocking metal shingles were specifically developed to cover radiused architectural features. But there is a lot of misinformation and confusion out there when it comes to how exactly roofing systems should be applied.

Let’s face it. Round details are tricky—especially when they are to be clad with metal. But that’s why they are so glorious when properly executed. Nothing says “supreme ability” better than a properly and beautifully constructed metal-clad radiused architectural detail.

With us, you don’t have to worry. Whether you are an architect or a builder, all you’ll need to do is send us plans and precise measurements. From that point we’ll do all the calculating and manufacturing for you. All you’ll have to do is sit back and take your well-deserved praise! Be assured; everyone will ask you how you did it. (And we can be your little secret. No one needs to know!)

Pictured in the gallery below are photos of some round detail roofs: (turrets, domes, curved walls and curved roofs) which various clients all over the country installed themselves using our interlocking metal shingle system. Photos are courtesy of our clients.  The projects all turned out great!  (We really do have the best clients!)

Would you like to know more about how our systems and technology can solve for your radiused roof or wall details? Give us a call: 801-462-5264 and we’ll be delighted to help you make your plans a gorgeous, permanent reality worthy of the awards and accolades you are sure to receive!
